AIDS on the rise in Sri Lanka, one more death

An HIV/AIDS death was reported at the Negombo Hospital raising concerns over the increasing number of deaths from the ‘silent
epidemic.’
The victim in his early forties has been working in a European country
for many years. Hospital sources said that he was admitted to the
hospital vomiting blood and died the same evening due to severe
symptoms of AIDS.
